Doug worked for the Income Security Programs branch of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada for more than 32 years. He was a specialist in the Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security legislation, regulations and policy. Doug contributes to several Canadian financial forums and writes pension-related articles for the retirehappy.ca web site.
Doug is committed to helping people understand their pensions and to ensuring they get the benefits to which they're entitled.
He lives in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.
